Rosh HaShana, when we celebrate the start of a new year, is a time for looking back and looking forward.
It is a time for making amends and making choices.
Above all, Rosh HaShana is a time to reconnect.
We reconnect with our spiritual side and with our Creator.
We reconnect with our family and community.
We reconnect with the eternal chain of Jewish generations that came before us.
We reconnect with our past and look forward to our future.
Over the last few months, over 1.5 million viewers from around the world have reconnected with the Western Wall via our new live video broadcasts at www.thekotel.org.
We are touched by your beautiful feedback, describing the inspiration, the comfort, and joy that you have gotten from being able to access the Kotel from any place at any time.
The Western Wall is a source of hope and faith. It is the center of our national unity and pride. It is where we connect with the essence of who we are.
The cameras that connect the world to this magnificent place are completely funded by private donations from people like you; people who share with us the belief that the Western Wall is where Jewish identity is rooted.
We thank you for your past support and ask that you help us bring the sights and sounds of the Kotel into homes around the world. Help us reconnect the world with the place that inspires us all to be better Jews and better human beings.
The Western Wall Heritage Foundation would like to take this opportunity to wish you and yours a Shana Tova, a Good Year. May this year be one of peace and unity for you and all of Am Yisrael.
"The Lord bless thee out of Zion;
And see thou the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life." (Psalms 128, 5)
